The Greatest Transformation You’ll Experience on Your Fitness Journey!

Have you ever seen The Greatest Showman? If you haven’t you 100% should – very emotional, heartwarming, action packed. If you have, you know the theme song that goes, ‘This is the Greatest Show!!! Where it’s covered in all the colored lights…’. That is what I imagine when I say the title of this week’s video and blog.

So, as you are reading this imagine me singing, ‘this is the greatest transformation!’, to the tune of ‘The Greatest Showman’.

If you haven’t guessed it yet, today’s blog is about the greatest transformation you will see while on your fitness journey! Am I talking about arms? Am I talking about your core? Am I talking about how toned and defined you are? Am I talking about your glutes or hamstrings?

I’m not even talking about the body at all! The greatest transformation you will see by prioritizing strength training, good nutrition, and an active lifestyle is not how good you’ll look, not how strong you are, not about how fit you are, not how much energy and endurance you have, though these are STELLAR benefits! I mean to be able to work all day, come home and run around with your kids/grandkids and STILL have energy?!? Come on, that is just amazing.

The greatest transformation you will see is in who you become on your journey.

There is a Proverb that says, ‘in all labor, there is profit’, and I believe that it means all work works.

By this I mean even if you aren’t seeing the fruit of your labor today – although we all want to see the fruits of our labor – you can trust and know that the harvest is coming.

The work you put in, the seeds you sow today, MATTER.

Every seed you sow today is sowing into a future outcome. We live in a cause-and-effect world, so when you put in work, it is going to produce results.

When you are working towards showing up consistently to your 2, 3, 4 days of workouts, walking on your non-workout days, prioritizing your nutrition and grocery shopping, it is most definitely producing results in how look, weigh, feel, and perform.

I can arguably state that it is also producing amazing transformation in your heart, your mind, and your soul.

I believe that being human is being both body and spirit.

I actually was telling my kids on Sunday about how out of all God’s creations, human beings are the only ones that are both body and soul.

Animals have a body but not a soul. I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings with that one…please forgive me, just saying what I believe! They can enjoy this life, but they don’t have the soul components.

Angels have a soul but not a body. They can’t enjoy the sunshine or the coolness of winter.

So, we are the only creation that has both. You enjoy feeling the warmth of the sun, the embrace of a loved one, right? We also love being about to have an inner being, being unique. It’s truly amazing to think that we have literally the best of both worlds.

You can’t divorce the two. They inevitably affect each other.

When you prioritize your health and fitness you become bigger, stronger, more mentally tough, more confident in your soul-your inner being.

If you aren’t seeing the 6-pack of abs you are wanting, or the super defined quad muscles you’ve been working for, it’s coming!

All the work you are putting in at the gym, in the kitchen, on the streets walking around, is going to produce a harvest soon! You can guarantee that you are already experiencing the greatest transformation that is happening internally.

Now, not only will you be able to walk around feeling and looking better, but because of who you become in the process, every area of your life will improve.

Do this so you can better glorify God, enjoy life, and be a blessing to those around you.

That my friends is the greatest benefit of prioritizing your fitness. Not the abs, energy, or health benefits. We love those things! But who you become on the journey is the greatest benefit you will see on your health and fitness journey.
